Sell Your Diamond to Corinne Jewelers

Toms River's family jeweler since 1964 — a real diamond evaluation from a real jeweler.

Selling a diamond is different from selling gold. With gold, weight and karat give you a single right answer. With a diamond, the value depends on cut, color, clarity, carat weight, and a dozen smaller factors that take a trained eye to spot.

Why sell your diamond to a jeweler instead of a pawn shop or online buyer

Cash-for-gold shops typically buy diamonds for their melt value. Online buyers ship your diamond out of state and offer prices based on auction wholesale. At Corinne Jewelers we pay better because of our estate jewelry program. Stones with resale potential go into our estate collection.

A dedicated buying team

Every diamond evaluation is handled by our buying specialist Joy Burlew and our team. Joy has deep gemological experience, backed by a Corinne team that's been doing this since 1964.

What we buy

  • Loose diamonds — GIA, EGL, AGS certified, or non-certified
  • Diamond engagement rings and bridal jewelry
  • Diamond stud earrings, tennis bracelets, eternity bands
  • Estate diamonds and inherited pieces — see also our estate jewelry buying page

A note about lab-grown diamonds

We don't buy lab-grown diamonds at this time. We do buy the precious metal in the setting. If you have a natural diamond you'd like to trade up, ask about our Diamond Trade-Up program.

How we evaluate natural diamonds

If your diamond has a GIA report, bring it. If not, we'll grade the stone at the counter using our 10x loupe and gemological tools. Joy will talk you through what we see.

How it works

  1. Call ahead for diamond evaluations
  2. Bring the diamond + any paperwork
  3. We evaluate at the counter
  4. You receive a written offer — cash or store credit at 20% bonus
  5. You decide — no pressure

Ready for a real evaluation?

Call ahead so Joy can reserve dedicated time. Bring your GIA paperwork if you have it.

A note about engagement rings

Many customers come to us to sell an engagement ring after a relationship has ended or after loss. We handle every transaction with discretion. If you're looking to upgrade rather than sell, ask about our Diamond Trade-Up program.
